Cederkloof Botanical Retreat - Your Stay in Citrusdal

Each cottage has a patio, a sitting area with a fireplace, a TV, and a kitchen equipped with a microwave, fridge, stovetop, toaster, and kettle. The private bathroom includes a hot tub (jacuzzi) on the deck. Units range from one-bedroom to two-bedroom cottages and a Luxury Honeymoon Suite. All cottages have air conditioning, free WiFi, and views of the mountains and fynbos. Complimentary freshly picked oranges from the farm are provided on arrival.

No restaurant is on site. Each cottage's kitchen is fully stocked for cooking - a coffee plunger and electric juicer are included. Guests can order firewood and ice from the property. The town of Citrusdal, 15km away, has shops for groceries and supplies.

The retreat offers several hiking trails - the Elephant Trail, Fairy Trail, and a 5km route that leads up the mountain to views of the Citrusdal Valley. An outdoor communal swimming pool, garden, BBQ facilities, outdoor fireplace, and picnic area are available. At night, the clear skies are ideal for stargazing. Each cottage has a private hot tub (jacuzzi) on the patio.

Cederkloof Botanical Retreat is in Citrusdal, 15km from Citrusdal Quad Farm, 16km from Petersfield 4WD-trail, 17km from Boschkloof 4WD-trail, and 18km from Blokhuis Hiking Trail. The property is accessed via a gravel and sand road - suitable for normal cars, though there are some potholes on the way. The surrounding area is quiet, with mountain views, fynbos, and many birds.

The retreat has a business centre, meeting/banquet facilities, fax/photocopying, and free WiFi. Wheelchair-accessible rooms, family rooms, non-smoking rooms, and a designated smoking area are available. Pets are allowed. Check-in is self-service with key access. Staff (Alex and Lizette) are reachable via WhatsApp and respond quickly. Fire extinguishers are provided, and invoices are issued.
